Subject:
Monkeypod bowl *PIC*

Ed Kelle
>I friend gave me this piece, it had a mortise hole and a screw buried in it. The only thing I could do was a bowl, and I wanted to practice a winged bowl. The outline remained as it was and after I shaped it, I realized it was a leaf so I carved it a bit. It's a soft wood and very open grained. Light weight as well. Finished with oil and buffed. 15"L x 11"W x 2.5"H.
