>Thanks Guys for all the responses. I guess it's not as big a problem as I had thought. Being a newbe I'm going through all the problems that everyone else has had.I won't decide what to do until I get it back on the lathe this weekend.I'm thinking the chip and dip thing but several people at work suggested turning it into a lazy susan. I've got an old carosel and might go that way. No mistakes in turning just learning oportunities and shorter bowls. See ya in the chat.
