Show at Blue Heron *LINK* *PIC*

>I'm fortunate enough to be one, of a three artist show for the month of March at the Blue Heron Gallery on Vashon Island. Vashon is a small island 20 minutes away by ferry from downtown Seattle. As a result of it's proximity to Seattle it has become quite an affluent community that is very supportive of the arts. Every first Friday of the month the local galleries host their 'Openings' from 6-9pm with music and hor d'oeurves. I had the floor of the gallery, and two photographers had the walls. The photographers are Mark Milroy and Mary McAleer. Their work is fabulous.

When I showed up for the opening I was informed one of my pieces already sold. Cool! I was told it was sold to Julie Speidel, who is a bronze artist. I did a search for her work and was blown away. Check out her site it's awesome. How flattering that she purchased one of my pieces! She's invited me to tour her studio the next time I'm on the island!

The photo I've attached is the view of the gallery as you enter the front door.
