Subject:
Placement of Pyrography? *PIC*

Dominic Greco in Richboro PA
>Hi Everyone,

I finally got out to the shop for a bit Saturday and Sunday. I was looking through my vast collection of dry, roughed out bowls and came across this little cherry one. For a long time now I've been wanting to embellish a bowl with some pyrography. A couple years ago I got a Burnmaster Hawk for my B-day. This this bowl was the perfect size for my first attempt.

I wanted to add a ring around the top, above the widest portion. The design would be a diagonal "basket weave". I took a picture and used Paint Shop "chimp in" (my phrase for "throwing something together quick and dirty").

On the advice from my buddy Tom Skaggs, I also sketched up a version with the band up closer to the rim. I'll attach that sketch as well.

What do you think?

See ya around,

Dominic
