Daylight balanced lighting ... big difference *LINK*

Jeff from MA
>I just did a little upgrade to the 46" fluorescent T12 tubes that I use in my windowless basement shop. The old tubes were 2300 lumen, 32 watt, 4200Kelvin.

I just replaced 8 of them with 5000 Kelvin, 3600 lumen, 40W bulbs. What a difference!!! Not only can you see detail and color better, but it is much easier on the eyes. The lights I put near my photo area are good enough so the camera is now able to use its full range of F-stops, it could only do about half of the range previously. I would recommend that anyone who doesn't have natural light give these or similar bulbs a try.
