Subject:
Tagua nut piece *PIC*

John Lucas
>Since I haven't turned Tagua nuts in a while and I'm doing a demo on friday I thought it might be nice to brush up on my techniques. Here is a Tagua nut vessel and base. The nut is about 1" and base about 2". Sanded to 600 grit and finished with laquer. I did use the beal on the base but not on the tagua nut.

Even though it is fun turning tagua nut vessels I prefer to use Tagua nut as an inlay rather than a stand alone piece.
