Subject:
Bowls vs Hollow Forms.....

Wally Dickerman in Arizona
>At what point in closing in the upper portion of a bowl does it become a hollow form? I teach a lot of classes in bowl turning and a few in beginning hollow forms. Most of my hollow form students have been in one or more of my bowl turning classes. Often, a student has been turning bowls that are closed in a bit and the question on when it becomes a hollow vessel arises..

What do you think? Or is it a silly question?
