>Has any of the General 260-20 owners had a problem with trying to keep the tailstock from moving? I have had this problem from the time I bought it while trying to rough turn large, rough, out of balance pieces. According to David Elsworth you can make a bigger locking plate and that will solve the problem. So I made a new larger plate but I cant see any difference. I still have to use a hammer on the lever. My next try is to make a larger handle, but I dont think that is going to solve the problem. Is there something I can do to the locking plate or the tail stock to give it more grip? Any help or ideas?
Thanks
