Turning Archive 2007
After inquiring with Carole what hollowers she uses, I finally, last Fall acquired a set of the small Kelton hollowing tools that I hold in a heavy Hosaluk handle. One of the things that I love about these is the ability to hollow through a smaller opening. Jim Shaver gave me this piece of walnut a while back and this is what it became. Thank you Mr. Shaver! The bead around the opening is part of the walnut that was then painted with black gesso. It's about 5" diameter, finished with Watco.
Thanks for peeking.
