Subject:
A question about alcohol drying

Charles R. Smith
>I recently started using denatured alcohol to dry green bowls, and really like the results. (I've turned 50 green bowls in the last ten days and am using a digital scale to monitor the drying times). However, I find that wrapping the outside of the bowls with paper is a hassle. Has anybody gotten good results by sealing the outside with a wax emulsion (e.g. Anchorseal)? Do you also paint/seal the rim? Any other advice? Thanks in advance.
