Subject:
About (cellulose) sanding sealer

>I bet this question sounds somewhat crazy to you but I have my reasons (I guess).

I have used thinned sanding sealer on some pieces which is applied between different grits, one thin coat after sanding and buffed and waxed when dry. However I'm running out of that Chestnut brand sanding sealer. No one is selling (cellulose) sealer here in Finland and getting that can be quite difficult because it can't be shipped via airmail...

The question is can I thin down nitrocellulose lacquer and use it sameway? Can I expect it to dry as fast as that cellulose sanding sealer? Is there some other things I should know?
