Chucks: Vicmarc VM100 vs. Oneway Talon vs. Nova G3

>I'm looking to get a chuck for an old Walker Turner lathe that I have been fixing up. This will be the first chuck I'll buy. I'm looking to do primarily bowl turning.

The reason I'm interested in these chucks in particular is that my lathe has a 12" swing, and from what I've read I won't need something the size of a Oneway Stronghold. I am leaning toward the Oneway, but only for the reason that neither Vicmarc or Nova seem to make an insert that is 1 x 12" LH, which would fit the outboard side of my lathe, whereas Oneway could at least custom make one for me, allowing me to use this chuck on the outboard side.

Any thoughts?
