Turning Critiques

Russ Babbitt
>I have been known around my club to be brutally honest when it comes to critiquing members work. I usually ask if they want an honest critique or should I be gentle. Lately there have been a lot of pieces shown for critique here. I was wondering how everyone feels about critiques here. Should we be totally honest, or sugar coated? None of my critiques are meant to be mean. I only give critque when asked for and I feel that if asked for any critique would be constructive and help the turner improve his/her work. Thanks all.
