Turning Archive 2007

>The wood is holly that I got from my neighbor last summer. It had turned darker, so after I turned it, I bleached it. It's actually a little lighter than the picture shows. With such a light wood, I had fits getting the color balance correct. I'm not sure I got the form right (is it too fat in the middle?). The finish is 3 coats of water-based poly, then sanded w/ 600 grit to smooth out the raised grain, and Beal buffed.
