Subject:
fingernail bowl gouges

Larry LaVictoire
>I am new at woodturning and I love it, except for my two fingernail bowl gouges. No matter what I do I catch them on my pieces I'm turning and "there they go", flying in the air after they fly out of my chuck, because I'm not sure how to use these fingernail gouges. I have tried and tried and all I'm getting is "gun-shy", and I don't want to get like that.
Can anyone help me with some good advise on how to use these tools?
Any photos, or anything will be highly appreciated..
Thanks
