Responce to faceplate thread from Wed. *PIC*

Read the information below knowing that I am the manufacturer of the faceplates and therefore I have a "dog in this fight". None the less, I hope that the information is helpful.

There is a 1 1/4" x 8 tpi x 3 1/2" dia. aluminum faceplate on the back of the piece in this picture. They work very well. There is no need for a fillet (although it wouldn't hurt anything)on the inside of the faceplate. They just do not flex.

The 6061-T6511 aluminum last a very long time. Thousands of them sold over the last few years and now have wornout or failed that I am aware of.
