Tool Rest Problem Resolved

Jim
>A few days ago I submitted a problem I was having with the round bar stock tool rests. The change was completely rattling my turning ability. I got many responses - all good ideas.
After careful review, I discovered I wasn't able to hold the same tool angle on the round rest I was used to with the flat/beveled rest. My Powermatic was too high for me and I didn't realize it! I made a 2" platform to stand on. This made a huge difference. So simple yet so profound! The ribbons are flying again! Thank you fellow woodturners.
