Subject:
Barb's Virginia Cherry *PIC*

Molly Winton
>Barb Gill sent me this beautiful piece of cherry. She sent it in a bowl blank form, but I couldn't resist making it a hollow. This is my first time making the mustangs natural wood on a natural edged form. In the past I always burned in the mustangs and kept the background natural. I like this. It also gave me the opportunity to play with the beautiful color variations from sap to heart wood, and the mottled heart wood. I think it makes the horses have more character and life. It measures 8" diameter and 6" tall. Finished with Danish oil. THANKS BARB!!
