Advice needed...

>I'm a total noob at air-powered tools and in need of advice on a decent compressor to drive a Powercrafter or similar carving tool. I'm looking for something quiet, small, and affordable (<$200?). I can't see ever needing to use it for other tools (nail guns, etc) so something adequate for this particular task is enough. Should I be looking at oil or oil-less, pancake or hot dog, dumb or dumber... my head is spinning!

What should I be looking for? Suggestions on specific units might help me get started comparing specs. Like anything new, it's just confusing at this point.
