Subject:
Tacky Watco

>I often sand to about 1000 and then wipe on Watco oil. It appears to dry over night. Recently, I felt I wanted more finish on certain pieces , so I recoated several of them with the same can of Watco after they were dry -- weeks later. One is walnut, one cherry and one oak. Now, for some reason that I can't understand, after nearly a week, all three are still tacky. My shop is at quite normal room temperature. Any ideas?
