Subject:
Router/ Lathe Jig Help Please...

Jim Shaver Oakville, Ont.
>Hi,

I am currently working on a spindle project that I will soon need to use a router with as well to add some details. I have a beading detail that I can accomplish with a new bit I just bought.

I would like to know if any of you have built a lathe jig for a router and maybe share some details. The router would need to be captured in the jig in a vertical position and slide in and out flush to the ways on the lathe and traverse the length of the spindle work, about 10 inches long. I want the bit to cut the spindle bead details at the height of the centre line between the headstock and tail stock.

Thanks,

Take care,
Jim
