Subject:
Epoxy Problems

Paul Coppinger
>About 2 weeks ago, I mixed some 30 minute, clear epoxy purchased at the local hardware store and filled a 1" diam hole that was about 1/2" deep. The weather was very cold for East Texas (low 30s)and to-date, the epoxy is still sticky on the top. I mixed 50-50 like instructed. I have had the piece under a light bulb for almost 2 weeks now and still it is not hard. Should I give up and dig it out, should I coat some hardner over the top or is there some other way to complete the hardening process like hotter lamp, etc.

Thanks for your help,
PAC
