small shear scrapers *LINK* *PIC*

>A while ago i posted info. on the large shear scraper that I use on open bowls. I have had a lot of positive feedback from happy turners. So...I am following that with my experience's with the small scrapers.
This are great for inside goblets and box's. Anything with a round bottom. I use them for the entire inside hollowing and the final scrape.
I have had no catches and end up with a very nice surface on end grain.
Here are a two pics. The large scraper is about 1" wide and the smaller 3/4"
I believe they started out as either shallow gouges or carving tools. I find them at antique tool stores or yard sales.
Of course, the grind is on the oppisite side from normal.
