Santos Rosewood box.... *PIC*

>Here is another experiment where I am trying to reduce the bulkiness of the lid in this particular box design. I effectively trimmed over 1/8" off the lid height which makes the lid pretty thin. This box is 2 1/2" tall and 3" in diameter. This Santos Rosewood is wonderful to turn and polishes like glass. The only complaint I have with it is the dark spots (visible in the lower left quadrant of the box body) that seem to show up in this stick of wood. Comments appreciated....
