>Yesterday was a bummer. I burned up the motor on my Jet 1236. I bought it used and I think (hope) is was due to old age. I have ordered a new motor. Has any one eles experienced a problems with burned out motors??? Is this a common experience?? I have just turned light stuff. I'm curious about the adjustment on the inside reves pully of the motor, it was running very close to the motor but not rubbing as far as I can tell. There was a gap of about 3/16 of an inch between the reves pullies when at the lowest speed I thought I read somewhere that the reves pullies should alway be engaged?? Thanks for any help.
