>I had a gentleman in the shop today showing him how to make my mirrors. We had a great day. As payment he gave a clamp his company sells. This thing is really cool. It's an 8" C clamp but has a quick release feature. Just a 1/4 turn of the clamp and it realeases. You can slide the arm anywhere you want and then just snug it up. it's extremely quick to operate. It's coated with copper to keep welding slag from sticking. Has rubber covers for the jaws to use with wood or other soft materials. The reason I'm excited about these is the quality of construction. They are just plain beautiful and work exceptionally well. Wish they made woodworkers clamps although these will work in many situations. If your a clamp nut like I am (I think I have over a hundred) check them out.
