Subject:
? about Mahoney Walnut Oil

Scott Hurley in N. VA
>I'm making a salad bowl out of Hickory for a friend. I'm going to use the Mahoney Walnut Oil for a finish. I've never used it before, but it has a distinctly different feel than other drying oils (like Watco). The bottle says it's a "slow-drying" oil. How slow is slow in this case? How long should I wait between coats? How many coats? Thanks.
