Subject:
Walnut Dish

Bill Grumbine (Kutztown PA)
>Greetings all

A couple of weeks ago while the guest of Harvey Meyer and the GAW, I was fortunate to obtain several boxes of small walnut cutoffs from Peach State Lumber. Apparently they are from a gunstock manufacturer. Most of the pieces are the shape and size of a brick, but one was an 8" square. It was thick enough that I split it in half for two dishes. This is one.

The finished piece is approximately 8" square and 1 1/2" high. It is finished with Bush Oil and buffed.

Thanks for taking a look.

Bill
