Skew Practice *PIC*

Peter Hyde
>In the process of shop cleaning I came across all sorts of discarded chisels with broken or cracked handles. So I decided to get busy with a skew and some Honey Locust. All about 6" long, various diameters. Some purchased ferrules from Lee Valley. Finish is BLO and wax. 3 from left is about 130 years old and has been in my family for around 100 years. Although it says I. Sorby it was in fact made by another company, C & J Turner, who bought out Sorby but still used the name.
