Beaded Maple Bowl *PIC*

Scott Hurley in N. VA
>This is my first try at beading a bowl using a beading tool. Fairly successful, but some of the beads are not truly rounded. This bowl cracked in a couple of places while drying, so I filled the cracks with CA and sawdust, then tried the beading to hide them, and it worked very well. I didn't bring the beads all the way to the bottom. Would it look better that if I had? The bowl is 8" wide, and finished with Bush Oil that I bought at Totally Turning in NY. The Bush Oil darkened the maple quite a bit - I probably won't use it on maple again.
