Subject:
Cleaning Ways?

Charlie Anderson
>I just finished roughing the exterior of a very green cherry bowl. To my surprise, the ways had changed for a bright color to a brown.

Using paint thinner, I scrubbed them but that didn't brighten them up. I did get alot of brown on the rag is was using.

The ways had been waxed but that probably wears away sliding the banjo and tailstock around.

What's a good way to get them clean up again?
