Mr Johnson has his own saw mill and sales a lot of blanks to turners and also carries rifle stock. He offers a "craft pack" of bowl turning blanks 4" to 15" in diameter, 1" to 4" thick for $45.00 plus $18.00 shipping. I received my order today and the total weight was approx 70 lbs (it was advertised as 45 to 50 lbs)! Blanks have been banded saw with corners removed, are seasoned air dryed, and end grain dipped in hot wax. They carry a variety of domestic wood for turning & carving. I received what to me seems like an incrediable number of blanks; mostly ash, red elm, oak, walnut, etc.

No association with Johnson Wood Products. Just wanted to pass on a source for a very good deal and an honest business man.
