Turning Archive 2006
>I just got the new issue of Woodwork magazine. It has photos of some of the work from the International Turning Exchange. Really interesting work. The traditionalists will like Liam Flyn's work. Marilyn Campbell and Neil Scobie's work is a little more on the carved and decorated style and Hilary Pfeifer work is pure Art and kinda out there. I was glad to see such a mix.
The ITE has to be a wonderful experience. I would love to do it someday. Just imagine putting 4 turners with really different backgrounds together and having them spend 8 weeks brain storming. That has got to be a lot of fun.
