>For those trying to shoot thier own work I have found a new bulb that works great. These use standard lamp bases so you can use them in regular reflector lamps or the smith Victor reflectors if you have those. I would use the 250 watt in photo reflectors but would stick with 125 watt in household fixtures. You don't want to burn down the shop while taking photos of your work.

These are 250 watt quartz lamps that fit a standard light bulb socket. They are tungsten balanced so you would need to use the tungsten setting on your digital camera or an 80 filter on your film camera with daylight film.
