Subject:
How durable/serviceable is Water Based Poly

Devon Palmer
>Hey All,

I've been playing with the new Minwax water based poly/acrylic, and really like the way it goes on, dries fast, and will go over about anything I've tried so far. I raise the grain a few times w/ alcohol and sand to keep it from raising too much when applying the finish. It has a ammonia smell like latex when drying.

Anyone else have experience with it? How well does it hold up with use? Food? Repair by applying more?
