Sharpening Class I Took Over The Weekend

>Hey, I read a lot, and my posts are "almost" non-existant, but thought I'd post this one. I've been turning a little when I have a little time, and my big problem has been sharpening. I took a 3-hour class on sharpening at Woodcraft over the weekend, and learned more than I have in 2 years of reading about how to do it.

Hands on training definitely beats all the reading you can do. If anyone has been having problems, or just wants to get better at sharpening - take a class from a good instructor. This guy owned a sharpening shop for over 10 years, and definitely knew all the tricks. FWIW - Larry
