OT: Comfort at the Computer

Ken Grunke from SW WI
>What kind of chair do you sit in at the computer?
My awful posture and sitting habits have been taking a toll on my poor body! I need to figure something out.
The main thing is pressure on my back causes discomfort and circulation problems. I just saw a chair with a two-piece backrest, where the middle is open--anyone use this?
I've found the backless, knee-sit chairs OK (the knee-sit part anyway), but I'd like the option of sitting back once in a while.
No way can I afford any kind of egonomic office chair for $500+, so I want to make my own custom chair.
The upside to my dilemma is I've been forced to spend less time at the 'puter, and more time everywhere else--being more active.
!
Any constructive ideas are welcome!
