Oland tools *LINK*

>I would like to clear up a question that has arisen in a couple of forums about the Oland tool. If you do not care ignore me. I have nothing to sell but I respect a turner who liked to help others. When Knud Oland designed this tool back in the 70's he wanted one that anyone could make in the home shop. He also wanted a cutting tool. Most look at the Oland and think it is a scraper. This may be because it looks like an Ellsworth (a good firend of Knud Oland's) scraper for the inside of hollow forms. There are a couple of short videos here of the tool in action.

My apologies for the web page. It was one of my early ones and it needs an extensive rewrite.
