>I shoot a lot of jewelry and bought a Nikon PB-4 bellows unit so that I could use the swinging front standard for increased depth of field. Unfortunately what I need the most is a tilting front standard so I built a bracket to mount the bellow at 90 degrees to normal. I was shooting a test this morning to see if it works. when I usually shoot the goblets at this magnification I get about 2mm maximum depth of field. Using the tilting front standard I was able to get about 6 or more mm of DOF. Of course that was on a 3D subject. With the right tilt I probably could have gotten the entire penny in focus but would have lost the top of the goblets.
