Subject:
OK, I may have been wrong

>Several of my WC friends and several manufacturers have been educating me to the facts about some of the very newest (and in at least one case - very expensive) Waterborne (WB) lacquers. In fact, most of the new ones DO burn into the layer below as long as the recoat time is less than 24 hours (downside is you may not recoat before 30 minutes vs 10 minuts for NC).

So, Keith and others, I appologize about my assertions about WB Lacquer.

But I do have another question: With NC Lacquer to clean up dried overspray in my spray area (when I am in a cleaning mood), I can just moisten a rag with thinner and welt/wipe it all off. What about the WB lacquer? They talk about using a stripper to clean up a spray gun.

Thanks

Mark
