Subject:
A Wood Surprise...

Wally Dickerman in Arizona
>The postman brought me a nice present from George Van Buynen in Wisc. today. A very heavy box with 8 chunks of spalted yellow birch and 1 chunk of cherry. Lovely stuff that I never see here in Az.

My wife and I are off shortly on a several weeks trip to the NW. I'll rough turn my new wood stash when I return in Oct. (I never rough turn wet wood during the hot dry summer months here in Az.)

Thanks George.
