JET 1642 vacuum coupling wisdom sought

>Guys -

The new 1642 is making chips when I get time. Been working on upgrading & building the support equipment from my old 1236 (new tool rests, weight box, face plates, chuck adaptors, etc).

Have a question for you: What ways have you been adapting the swivel vacuum coupling to the left end of the spindle? Will be making my own, so open to all suggestions. Twas thinking about using the aluminum "hand wheel" tube to simply insert a "tube" from a manufactured swivel, and hold it in place with set screws. Might even incorporate an O-ring. Or would it be better to left hand thread it and thread the fitting in? I have a metal lathe in the garage to do my own turning.

What are you doing for this feature?

Thanx.........

Pete
