Subject:
I have a big casting for a bowl lathe.

Keith Newton
>About four or five years ago I built myself a big lathe from parts of a very large machine-shop lathe. I didn't use the casting from the tail-stock, although it would make the beginning of a great lathe for anyone wanting to build their own.

I think it weighs around 1000 -1200 lbs. has a 20" x20" footprint, 32" high 5" diameter hole where the quill passed through 1 3/4" thick.

If anyone is interested in it, just let me know, and I will email some photos.

Make me an offer. I hope this is not misconstrued as a commercial venture.
