Waterlox vs minwax wipe on poly

>Here's a question for you experts. many years ago I swore by Waterlox, and then swore at Waterlox. It always went bad way before I used it up. I'm now trying Minwax wipe on poly. If I remember correctly they both seem to go on about the same with roughly the same consistency. Not having a new can of Waterlox I want to know the difference between these two. They may be completely different, I don't know.
