Turning Archive 2006
>Location of the logs are in Dolyestown PA area. Reference to Bill Grumbine, I have spoken to Bill and he is aware of the project and was very interested. Except Bill Grumbine is very busy with his new DVD and traveling that he just does not have the time at all to do it.
As far as where you the "Turner" is located I am not that concern. Yes it would be great if the turner was close by. I have spoken to turners in other parts of the country. At this time I am talking with a Trucking company that may donate their service and haul the portion of the log needed to the turner's studio.
So for me it is not so much where the turner is located. Most important is the Turner interested in the project and have experience doing LARGE and mean BIG pieces.
Thank you so much for reading my story. If you have any more questions just let me know.
When the table is done in about 2 to 3 years I will post photos.
