>I'm new to woodturning and love it! But I need help. I can only turn on the weekends for a few hours and am venturing probably way beyond my ability. I have a beautiful piece of black locust which seems to be harder than granite to turn. My parting tool feels like a machine gun just trying to turn the tenon. The bowl gouge makes very very fine shavings. Tools are sharp. Are there turners here on WC willing to make private emails open for help? Not looking for immediate responses but somebody that can take a look at what you are doing and provide advice. Thanks. MA
