Subject:
A Happy Student

Jake Niedling
>Well I spent a few hours teaching a eager retiree how to make boxes. His eyes were wide open and was very happy to see how to make something new on the lathe. His challenge is now to make one before we get together again in a week or two.

He has one of those variable sheeve / speed Delta's and I can tell you it is a real challenge to turn on because there seems to be alot of runout or something. It was a test for my skills, but we managed to make a nice Holly box with a nice fiting & poping lid.
