Subject:
non-slip mat?

>What is it that everyone is using at the end of a jam chuck to drive a bowl or hollowform from the inside? I need to part my hollowform from the base and I have turned a "post"--not really a jam chuck because it doesn't fit tightly (real close but no stress)--in the opening. The post does go all the way to the bottom of the HF, so if I can glue something to the end,so that the HF will not slip, I can mount it between centers and part it off.

So...again, what is the stuff and where do you get it?
