Questions about pen turning

Josh in VA
>Guys, I am relatively new to pen turning compared to probably all of you. I have turned about 50 or so pens, and still have a lot to learn. My pens have been getting better due to better finishing and more patience while turning.

I have two questionshopefully you can help me with:

I have an El Presidente pen kit I am wanting to turn, what have you guys done to end mill these kits. I have been looking for sleeves to use, but am not having any luck. Any ideas on where I can get some sleeves or any other tricks?

While turning a pen, do any of you use a skew chisel? I have used it occasionally, but am not convinced on why I should be using it at all.

Thanks
Josh
