"T" Diamond Wheel dresser

>I have the wolverine single point diamond dressing jig,but, it requires some set up time. I just got one of these "T's", cause I thought it would be faster to use. After, set up adjustment, the wolverine does a good job, & only removes minimal grit though.

Those of you that have this type of dresser, how do you manage to get a smooth cut on the wheels, & not make a dip in the wheel, & not remove more grit than necessary?
